God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God. It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 100: 1-3.

Isaiah 55:7

I cried to Him with my mouth; His praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer, or withheld His love from me. Psalm 66:17-20.
